Starting Over

Every day we wake up .. we have another opportunity to begin again.. no matter what happened the days, weeks, months or years before.. every new days offers us a NEW chance to begin again.
Whether it is getting back on track with a diet and excercise routine or mending relationships.. each day brings us an opportunity.
What you do with that opportunity is what really matters.
Stop beating yourself up over things you wish you had or hadn’t done just start fresh with that new days clean slate and make the changes you so desperately want and or need.
It’s never too late to be who you always wanted to be.
Take each day as it is .. an opportunity to learn, grow, heal and move forward.
Many blessings for a great and prosperous day,

The Upside

I won’t pretend life is all roses and smiles… life gets crazy, hectic, hard, painful and down right insane at times… BUT … my message for you today is … The Sun is ALWAYS Shining.

Beyond the clouds… the sun is ever shining. Though we may sleep .. the sun never does.. it’s rays of light are continuous.. and when the moon takes it’s rest and the clouds part way… we are given the gift of light to brighten our way.

Take each day as it comes…. hardships are expected …. none of us are immune to that fact… but how we make it through.. how we handle ourselves through those times.. how we endure.. is completely up to us. We can give in or we can fight it out.

When times get hard and you are finding it difficult to keep going .. think about the bright days you’ve already had.. think of the blessings that have come your way .. remember the days when smiles and laughter filled your heart and know that those days will come again.

Hard times are temporary just like the weather… hang in there and keep walking forward. Brighter days are just around the corner. Focus on the positive. Let the negative slip away.

Many Blessings and great big hugs to all,

Magic Wish

I wrote this a few years back and thought it was a time to reshare :-)
Don’t Make Me

Don’t make me call on the rain to hide the tears

Don’t make me call on the wind to carry away the fears

Don’t make me!

I tell you I have been there … so many times.. I have visited this place … you know.. that sad place deep inside you where you go to when you’ve been hurt.. when you’re sad and lonely .. when you feel like no one else in the world feels the way you do.

That place you escape to … that place where you think no one will notice how sad and lonely you are or how deeply hurt you may be..

I just wanted to send out a great big {{{hug}}} to all those finding themselves in that place.

So I’m posting this little message to let you know you’re not alone.. there are people who care.. you just have to let them help you .. let them love and care for you ..

Pull yourself out of that lonely place and try to have a bit of fun.. laugh … and live .. don’t let anyone make you feel like you don’t deserve to be loved ..

Here’s a bit of magic coming your way .. hoping you’ll be able to laugh and have some fun … and most importantly feel the love this magic wish brings

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now close your eyes and count to three…
Nod your head and accept this magic wish I send to out thee…..
Jump up and stomp the ground .. bang on the floor and make a lot of sound!
Turn on some musical tunes … now scream and shout at the moon
Spin and turn around really really fast … keep on going as I finish out this wish I cast
Now stop and throw your arms up into the air ….
Cast away all your worries and all your cares
Pull your arms in really close and give yourself a great big hug …
Hold on tight…. make it really really snug
Feel the magic from above .. feel the warmth and all my love
I’m sending you now, a magic feather
Now see.. don’t you feel better?
Many Blessings,
Rebuilding...
When you are walking upon the storm .. and your life seems to be falling to pieces...
Understand that .... Sometimes your world needs to fall apart so you can rebuild it.
Think about all the storms you have been through ... you're here .. you survived... you rebuilt what you once had and you will again ...
Patching the walls doesn't really get rid of the holes.. it just hides them
So the wall get torn down and you build it back ... stronger and better than before.
I've patched many holes .. and my world has fallen apart many times... each time I dusted myself off eventually ... and began the rebuild process...
This is message is to let those who are going through a storm now... know that you are not alone.. and the task before you is not an impossible one... although it may seem impossible.. you will get through this ...
Many hugs and healing blessings to you
Have You Ever?
Today’s post is dedicated to all those who have found themselves in that deep dark hole of depression, loneliness and sorrow. It happens to all of us at some point in time. Life becomes complicated and messy… there are days when we just can’t deal with what life brings us or we just don’t know how to cope. So many reasons that we can find ourselves in this dark place. Life throws at us so much, sometimes it is just too hard for us to take on.
I want everyone who finds themselves in this dark place to know that you are not alone. This happens to us all and the thing I want you to take with you from this post is that … it is never forever… the pain, loneliness, sorrow, depression is temporary and you can overcome it… there will be light again.
Reach out to your friends and family to help you through the difficult times. With much love and understanding I send to you all great big healing {{hugs}} and well wishes.
Have you Ever?
Have you ever found yourself so sad you didn’t want to get out of bed
Crazy thoughts run through your mind, like what if I were dead
You begin to wonder if suddenly I were no longer here
Would anyone notice, would anyone even care
Your world seems so dark and sad
You wonder, why does this feel so bad
It feels like there will never again be light
It’s so hard not to give up and continue to fight
You wonder what’s next and how much can I take
Then you think maybe I’ll close my eyes and never wake
But then you realize this is no way for your life to end
So you pull yourself together and cry to a friend
Letting go of the misery and all the pain
A friend shows you that there will be light once again
You are not alone in this fight
There are others who feel the same, crying in the night
So let tomorrow be the beginning, a fresh start
And let go of what burdens your mind and your heart
Nothing good ever comes from wishing you were dead
So snap out of it and get your ass out of bed!
A Colorful Life
I’m guided today to speak about color. Spring has sprung and soon the Earth will be painted with many colors.
Pay more attention to the colors in your own world… color has a great affect on you, your health and your mood.
Spirit will be speaking to you through colors in the coming days so pay attention.
Even your dreams will have color in them from time to time for some and for others like me .. all the time.
Here are a few general meaning of some of the more popular colors:
Red symbolizes: action, confidence, courage, vitality
Pink symbolizes: love, beauty
Brown symbolizes: earth, order, convention
Orange symbolizes: vitality with endurance
Gold symbolizes: Wealth, prosperity, wisdom
Yellow symbolizes: wisdom, joy, happiness, intellectual energy
Green symbolizes: life, nature, fertility, well being
Blue symbolizes: youth, spirituality, truth, peace
Purple symbolizes: Royalty, magic, mystery
Indigo symbolizes: intuition, meditation, deep contemplation
White symbolizes: Purity, Cleanliness
Black symbolizes: Death, earth, stability
Gray symbolizes: Sorrow, security, maturity
Try this Meditation I found online to help balance and heal through colors:
* Sit comfortably with your eyes closed.
* Visualize a large ball of radiant Golden light a few inches over your head. Visualize that ball of light slowly descending through your crown, filling your entire being with golden light.
* Imagine yourself absorbing that light as it nourishes, cleanses and heals your whole being – your Spirit and all of your bodies – dissolving all blocked and toxic energies.
* Repeat this exercise, visualizing a ball of Red light. Continue through the entire spectrum like this, visualizing a ball of Orange light; Yellow light; Green light; Blue light; Indigo light; and Violet light. Go through the spectrum at whatever pace feels appropriate.
* Take some time to visualize yourself in a state of perfect, radiant health
I'm Letting Go
I’m letting go of this pain ..
Hoping it will move on like yesterday’s rain
No longer does it have a place within
No more sadness .. I’m sending it away with the wind
The hurt is far more than I can bare
I’m washing it away like the grey in my hair
Happiness and light are welcome to stay
As for this pain … you can go and stay far far away
Leave me alone I don’t like how you make me feel
It seems harder each time to heal
I’m not your victim.. I’m not your prey
What more is there to say
Hurt and Pain … it’s you I really don’t like!
I don’t care if you leap, run, drive or take flight!
Just go now and take a hike!
Uses of cinnamon
Uses of cinnamon
Healing Power and Curative Properties
Cinnamon leaves are used in the form of powder or decoction. They are stimulant and useful in relieving flatulence and in increasing secretion and discharge of urine. Cinnamon prevents nervous tension, improves complexion and memory. A pinch of cinnamon powder mixed with honey does the trick if taken regularly every night for these purposes.
Common Cold
Cinnamon is an effective remedy for common cold. Coarsely powdered and boiled in a glass of water with a pinch of pepper powder and honey, it can be beneficially used as medicine in cases of influenza, sore throat, and malaria. Its regular use during the rainy season prevents attacks of influenza. Cinnamon oil, mixed with honey, gives relief from cold.
Digestive Disorders
Cinnamon checks nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. It stimulates digestion. A tablespoon of cinnamon water, prepared as for cold and taken half an hour after meals, relieves flatulence and indigestion.
Bad breath
Cinnamon serves as a good mouth freshener.
Headache
Headache produced by exposure to cold air is readily cured by applying a paste of finely powdered cinnamon mixed in water on the temples and forehead.
Acne
Paste of cinnamon powder prepared with a few drops of fresh lime juice can be applied over pimples and blackheads with beneficial results.
Other Diseases
Cinnamon is highly beneficial in the treatment of several other ailments, including spasmodic afflictions, asthma, paralysis, excessive menstruation, uterus disorders and gonorrhea. It is sometimes used as a prophylactic agent, to control German measles.
Other Uses
Natural Birth-Control: Cinnamon can be used for natural birth-control. It has the remarkable effect of checking the early release of ova after child-birth. A piece of cinnamon taken every night for a month after child-birth delays menstruation for more than 15 to 20 months thus preventing early conception. It indirectly helps the secretion of breast milk. Prolonged breast feeding checks the restarting of menstruation after child-birth, according to studies.
Dried cinnamon leaves and inner bark are used for flavoring cakes and sweets and in curry powder. They are also used in incense, dentifrices and perfumes. Cinnamon bark oil is used for flavoring confectionery and liqueurs. It is also used in pharmaceutical and dental preparations. Cinnamon leaf oil is used in perfumes and flavorings as also in the synthesis of vanilla.
